Who is Puppy…?
I’ve been posting daily on LinkedIn since May 2020 doing #30DaysofPup challenges. Each 30-day challenge focuses on one theme that I’m uncomfortable with. The idea is if I can expose myself to that discomfort, I’ll feel less anxious and upset confronting it.
Then, I decided to make a career change from data to product, so I started another challenge called #365DaysofProduct where I post one learning each day (you can view all challenges in the above button, the tab name “0”).
Okay… so who are you??
I'm Puppy, who's navigating through life and trying to remain honest and open about "I have not figured it all out yet". I love getting exposed to new information and learning new things every day. It's a lovely way to keep feeling alive and not feel empty in this world :)
Born and raised in Taiwan, I’m currently an associate product manager at CoachArt, a nonprofit organization that provides free arts and athletics lessons for children with chronic illness and their siblings, that focuses on the development and iterative improvement of the CoachArt Connect online student and coach matching platform.
After graduating from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor with a degree in Statistics, I held various roles in technology companies, including player experience analyst and regional marketing manager at a gaming startup, restaurant onboarding analyst at Uber Eats, and data operation lead at CB Insights.
Since experiencing hearing loss and developing an interest in product management, I hope to pursue my dream of building features/products that can make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Outside of work, I’m a music assistant to my partner who is a professional pianist, organist, and harpsichordist. Currently living in New York City with two cats.
Why should I subscribe?
I have no idea. Some people think I’m funny, some people feel resonated with me, some people learn new things from my sharing, some people might just be friendly and nice, and some people just want to secretly judge me, maybe 😂
So, read and decide for yourself. I’m not sure how often I’ll be posting, but definitely less frequent than once a week.
